Johnny Mac McDaniel for State House

John “Johnny Mac” McDaniel has served as Sheriff of Jackson County for twenty-eight years. Born and raised in Northwest Florida and a graduate of Marianna High School, Johnny Mac’s family has been in northwest Florida since 1851.

He understands the challenges facing Northwest Florida residents, and he’s running for state representative because he can get things done in Tallahassee.  Sheriff McDaniel wants to bring more and better-paying jobs to the area, work to find real solutions to the hurricane insurance crisis, and expand access to affordable, quality health care.

Northwest Florida is my home. It’s where I’ve always lived, where I went to school and worked. It’s the community I’ve devoted my life to.

As Sheriff of Jackson County for 28 years, it’s been my job to protect our homes and our families.

And that’s what I will continue working to do in the Florida House of Representatives.
